MARCH 2020 Updates: 

  • BOKs will begin on Wednesday, March 4th at 8:45! 

  • Read Across America Week Monday, March 2nd through Friday, March 6th. 

  • February Reading Party will be held on Friday, March 6th

  • Bi-Monthly Town Hall Meetings will be held on Monday, March 9th & Monday, March 30th 

  • Town Hall Rewards will be given on Monday, March 24th at 9:40am. Parents of award recipients will be invited to attend!

  • School-wide Field Trip to the Science Museum will be on Wednesday, March 11th

  • Our second term of the school year ends on March 13th, 2020Students in K0/K1 will receive their first official progress report during the week of March 16th. Students in K2 through 5th with receive their second report card during the week of March 16th.

  • If you were unable to make it to parent teacher conferences in January, do not worry! Every Clap teacher has a weekly time set aside to meet with parents during the school day. The information is attached here! Please feel free to call the office to set up a meeting!

FEBRUARY TOWN HALL 

“Who here is going to college?” Everyone- HANDS UP! Special guest: John Tobin Vice-Principal of Northeastern University! He talked to our students about their responsibility in, “planning their tomorrows” and “doing their job as students!” Students have also been invited back to NEU to visit the college campus- families please let us know if you are interested in visiting the college campus with your child! Congratulations to our core value award winners for the month of February!!

JANUARY TOWN HALL 

For the month of January, we focused on SAFETY, one of our four core values. Students that demonstrated safety in and out of the classroom received awards in each grade level. Also, students  received awards for Most Improved in Reading!

All Boston Public Schools will be CLOSED for students starting Tuesday, March 17th for the remainder of the school year.
